Cycle Hire at Bricycles

As part of our commitment to make cycling available to all and promoting cycling as an environmentally friendly transport option for commuting and tourism, we are pleased to offer our splendid cycle hire service.


The famous composer Edward Elgar found inspiration for much of his music exploring the outstanding beauty of the local area by bicycle. His first bicycle was purchased from Malvern Link where our premises opened as a bicycle shop in the early 1900s as Hammond’s Cycles. Our cycle routes are inspired by Elgar’s jaunts. Whether you want to visit the historical sites such as Elgar’s Birthplace Museum (www.elgarmuseum.org) and follow in his tyre treads, or simply enjoy the beautiful scenery that surrounds Malvern, maybe stopping for a bite and a pint at one of our many fine establishments.

We offer vintage cycles restored to a road worthy condition (some with more of their original patina than others) for those wishing to explore in style. Our modern cycles by Claud Butler are an excellent choice for a family day out or romantic ride in the countryside. To ensure our service is as inclusive as possible we also have a range of options for varied abilities such as our wheelchair cycle and our hand cycle.

Bicycle Hire Tariffs

Prices include map, helmets, tool kit and pump where appropriate.
Drop off and pick up available within a 10 mile radius of the premises at a cost of £20.
Groups over 3 receive a 10% discount .
Discounts available for bookings for multiple days.
An extra charge of £15 can be administered for late return of bicycles.

Cycle hire is available 7 days between 9am - 6pm or dusk if earlier
